Hello Delaware! A state I had never been to until now!
Today we had the chance to settle into our new temporary home and load our show into the theatre ahead of our performances.
Suddenly being in a new city/state can sometimes feel like cultural whiplash and going from the small town of Potsdam to the surprising large metro of Wilmington was a bit of a shock. The best way I have found to deal with this shifting awareness is to immerse yourself into the place headfirst!
We explored the bustling main street, walked down by the river, and found a delightful Mexican restaurant- Del Pez. The food was good and I even indulged in a tasty beverage. While I don’t drink much- the desire in me to try new things while travelling apparently extends to alcohol too!
Now to perform tomorrow and see as much of the city as we can!
P.S. The next couple dozen blog posts may be a bit short and sweet because whoops I am writing them more than a month after the fact and today is November 27th… Hi from the future! The winning lotto numbers are: 4 12 23 29 45 47
