Campus Life [Two Dow Shay]

It was another beautiful day in Upstate New York and time for our first Two Show Day (affectionately referred to as a Two Dow Shay in the theatre community to reflect the general sense of discombobulation).

Both shows went quite well and no curtains fell down (which may or may not have happened yesterday)…

One of the silver linings of performing a show in nearly pitch black is that as long as puppets are where they need to be- performing in different theatres really isn’t too difficult! I am still getting used to the full black ensemble and pulling my ninja hood down…

We got a chance to explore more of the campus after we loaded out to grab some food. I was struck by how much this university looked like what i always imagined US schools to look like from movies and TV. It is beautiful. Red bricks, ivy covered walls, super trendy buildings and a library that doesn’t look like a maximum security prison for super villains (sorry not sorry Dalhousie).

I am still trying to fill in a backlog of blog posts and I don’t really remember much else from this day… I probably swam in the hotel pool again? I think I bought some snacks at Walgreens? Maybe had some Italian food?

Tomorrow is a day off (hallelujah) and I can’t wait to spend some time outdoors and get some fresh air!
