The Spaceman In The Shower [Making Things Fit]

Saturday, July 25th, 2015

While one might assume the weekend is the busiest time for exhibitions, today was the opposite.  Contrasted to the enormous crowds we were greeted with yesterday, I was surprised to see such small numbers on the final day of the fair.

Skootles wondering where the roaring crowds are..
Despite the smaller turnout, we had an excellent day of shows, followed by many compliments from audience members, which are always lovely.  As the day started to slowly reach its end, I had a very important decision to make.  Upon my wandering in the adjacent art gallery yesterday, I found a piece that really spoke to me.  It was complex, haunting, and most importantly… In my price range.
I live by a motto, that’s gotten me through life pretty happy so far: You regret the things you don’t do more than you’ll ever regret the things you do.

I bought the art…  The only challenge now was finding somewhere to pit it… Did I mention it’s 7ft tall?

My “Artwork”. While his given name is EX-0, we lovingly refer to him as Mohammod.

I figured out pretty quickly it wouldn’t fit in my room… Luckily, he did fit in the shower in the trailer, where he rests comfortably until he can furnish whatever room I put him in.  I see him as a true centerpiece.
