Until today, I was absolutely sure that the nicest scenery in all of Canada that we’d seen on this trip was the lake-filled mountainous region of North-western Ontario. Then we drove through the canyon near Cypress County.

Before you tear up from the beauty of this gorgeous gorge, let’s go back to this morning to catch you up. We left Medicine Hat bright and early and began our drive to “Saskatoon, Saskatchewan” (try saying that 5 times fast..).

was an added sense of excitement in the air today, because we all knew that we only had 1 month left. Despite all the fun times we’ve had, the homesickness has made its rounds, and the thought of home motivated us (at least it did for me).

After what was a scenic and relaxing drive (except for worrying about the state of my spaceman statue in the shower [read precious blog if that statement confused you]) we finally arrived in Saskatoon, where after a late night sub from subway, I hit the hay… And after slapping the bale of hay for no conceivable reason I went to sleep.
