This morning after a little bit of last minute packing up (and getting new keys for one of the trucks, because we lost the others), we were finally ready to make the short and easy drive to Medicine Hat.

I was feeling confident that today would good day, despite our previous bad luck with driving. Not long after beginning to drive though, we took a small detour and visited the “Discovery Wildlife Park”, an enchanting zoo right off the highway near Red Deer, who invited us to visit for a behind the scenes tour! Now you have to understand, I love a good zoo, especially getting to see behind the scene, but there was something even more exciting than all of that…! GOLF CARTS. I’d never been on a golf cart before today, and let me tell you, they are pretty darn fun.

After that super fun pit-stop (they gave us free food too!) we began the rest of our drive… Which is when we arrived at our second [unplanned] pit-stop… The side of the road… We lost another tire to the mean roads of the praries.

Eventually, help arrived, and we made it the rest of the way to Medicine Hat, where on the drive it to town we saw the worlds largest TEEPEE!
